JET WORKPLACE ECM

ECM Enterprise Content Management proposes making all of an organisation's information available for use on one platform. ECM encompasses conventional information technologies such as document management, knowledge management, workflow management and archiving (see also the AIIM International definition of ECM at www.aiim.org).

The aim of ECM is to eliminate data and document redundancies, standardize access, make any information, regardless of origin and usage, available to all applications on a uniform basis.

Data Systems Austria's JET WORKPLACE is an ECM portal that provides all relevant information, such as ERP or CRM data and documents from different origins, on one platform.
The development of JET WORKPLACE is based on the .NET Framework. Client applications are, depending on requirements, Outlook, web-pages (HTML via ASP.NET) or Rich Windows Clients. This forward-looking integration of .NET technologies, web applications and Windows frontends in the Outlook environment makes simple and flexible implementation of customer requests possible.

Below you will find an overview of all uses to which JET WORKPLACE can be currently applied.

JET WORKPLACE CRM

The aim of JET WORKPLACE as a central information and communications instrument is to offer users optimal support in their relations with their customers throughout the entire lifecycle of the customer relationship. As a tool for optimizing customer care and sales management JET WORKPLACE focuses above all on sales, marketing and support.

Contact Management

All essential company data such as which branch of industry, categorization, turnover details, employee details and sales responsibilities are clearly presented. Likewise, all particulars of contact people, for example their position and responsibilities, notes on them and their connection to products, are shown.

Campaign Management

The campaign management module is one of JET WORKPLACE's key features for sales and marketing.
On the one hand, all campaign details can be planned and documented, on the other, the entire marketing history of a contact is clearly laid out.

Product History

This module provides information about products installed at customer sites and therefore about related maintenance and support contracts.

Service Management

The service management component is designed to meet the requirements of customer service employees.
It includes a comprehensive module for the uptake and processing of jobs by the technical inhouse and field staff.
In addition, this includes managing the support contracts for installed bases.

JET WORKPLACE Reports Portal

The reports portal is the central information and communications platform of JET WORKPLACE.

All reports about a customer come together here. All staff, whether from sales, support or top management, collect the outcomes of their phone calls or personal meetings with the customer in this module. Related documents like Word or Excel files can be attached to individual reports.

If any further action needs to be taken as a result of a report, it can be flagged for future attention. The integrated workflow function makes it possible to delegate tasks to colleagues (including notification via eMail). In a manner similar to an online discussion forum, clarifications and replies pertaining to an entry can be filed.

JET WORKPLACE FIBU and KORE

With JET WORKPLACE FIBU (financial accounting) and KORE (cost accounting), queries about financial and cost accounting data can be made in one location. This provides universal access so that the need to install client software or have specialized software knowledge is not necessary. It enables data queries relating to an account or a cost center, a cost unit, an application or a device to be carried out in one "virtual" place.

JET WORKPLACE DocumentServer

The JET WP DocumentServer is a key tool in document administration. It is frequently used for the integration of extremely diverse applications.

The JET WP document server enables all internal and external document files (e.g. Office documents, CAD plans, eMails and their related attachments, scanned documents etc.) to be brought together in one folder, where they can analysed and archived.

Special item: ebinvoice

In the future electronic billing will be a standard part of business relationships. DSA has developed ebinvoice on the basis of the ebinvoice project. Data Systems Austria offers recipients of invoices a solution which fulfills all legal requirements. In particular this refers to signature verification and archiving, thus guaranteeing a high degree of automation.

The document management module of JET WORKPLACE takes care of administration and storage of all incoming invoices regardless of whether they are received by post or electronically. The legal requirements for auditproof storage of electronically transmitted invoices are of course be taken into account. By integrating the internal audit in the workflow a huge step in convenience and efficiency is achieved. This significantly accelerates invoice processing.
